Zimory's software suite provides connectivity to the Zimory Marketplace, a global trading platform to exchange data center resources on-demand based on internet technologies. Furthermore, Zimory facilitates the vendor-neutral deployment and management of Virtual Machines within the Zimory infrastructure. In essence, Zimory supports the following use cases:

• Sell and buy server resources
• Deploy and manage Virtual Machines

The following functionality contained in Zimory software supports the above-mentioned use cases:

• Managing Zimory-enabled servers: Monitor all Zimory-enabled server resources available in a data center through a convenient web interface.
• Offering server resources: Configure some of the available data center resources for direct online outsourcing and trading on Zimory Marketplace.
• Deploying Virtual Machines: Use Zimory to easily deploy Virtual Machines to each of the Zimory-enabled servers.
• Managing Virtual Machines: Stop or suspend Virtual Machines on demand either when they are no longer needed or for data center maintenance reasons.
• Migrating Virtual Machines: Migrate Virtual Machines when the underlying configuration of the physical server changes, such as moving all Virtual Machines to a server with more RAM. A second example would be the end of life of server hardware.
